Mark Lane
Mark is a Partner in the Projects & International Construction Group. He is a specialist in the field of infrastructure law and has over 30 years' experience practising in this field, with particular emphasis in the water sector.
Mark heads the Firm's Water Sector Group which specialises in water and wastewater regulatory and project assignments. The Firm won the Distinction Award for Global Water Law Firm of the Year at the Global Water Awards in April 2008.
Mark is Editor of Pinsent Masons Water Yearbook 2009-2010 (now in its 11th Edition), a widely recognised industry reference work, and he sits on the UK Government's Water Sector Advisory Group, the only private practice lawyer to do so.
He has extensive experience of working overseas on water related assignments, particularly in the Asia Pacific Region, Africa, the Middle East and Ukraine and lectures frequently nationally and internationally on water related topics.
Mark is co-chair of the International Construction Projects Committee of the International Bar Association, and a member of the Worshipful Company of Water Conservators.
